Privacy Policy — Google connector

This page describes how Cadence, a subscription product of Cdaeris Agency, handles data obtained from Google — through the Google Analytics Data API and the Google Search Console API. It supplements our main privacy policy, which governs everything else.

Connecting Google is one sign-in that grants both of the read-only scopes below. You can see which of them a connection actually holds, and disconnect it, under Settings › Connections inside Cadence.

What we access — Google Analytics

With your explicit consent, Cadence reads aggregated reporting data from the single Google Analytics property you select, using the read-only analytics.readonly scope. It reads day-level totals — such as sessions, users and page views — once a night. It does not read individual visitors, and it never requests write access.

What we access — Google Search Console

With the same consent, Cadence reads which of your pages Google has indexed and what they rank for, using the read-only webmasters.readonly scope. This is read during an SEO audit of a site you own, because a crawler can report that a page is broken and only Google can report that it is not indexed. It never requests write access, and it does not submit, remove or change anything in your Search Console account.

We read no other Google service. In particular, Cadence does not read Gmail, Drive, Calendar or Contacts through this connection.

What we do with it

The figures are shown on your own dashboards, scorecards and audit reports inside Cadence, and are visible only to people in your company who have been granted access. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it to train models.

How long we keep it

Retrieved figures are stored so a dashboard does not re-query Google on every view, and are refreshed on a schedule. Disconnecting the integration removes the stored credential immediately, and nothing further is read from Google from that moment.

The figures already retrieved are then held for your workspace’s recovery window — at least 30 days, and longer if your administrator has chosen longer — so that reconnecting within it resumes rather than starting again, and reports that cite those figures keep working meanwhile. At the end of that window they are destroyed, automatically and without anyone asking: every figure retrieved from Google, along with the record of how far the copy reached. What is kept is your own configuration — which figures you chose to expose and what you renamed them to — which contains no Google data. Cadence counts the days down under Settings › Trash, from the moment you disconnect, and says there what will go. You can also ask us at the address below to remove them sooner.

Revoking access

You can disconnect the integration inside Cadence at any time, or revoke it directly from your Google account permissions. Either is sufficient; neither requires contacting us.
